My rear air seems to be working OK but I have a loud noise coming from that area. It’s like a clicking noise almost like plastic gears are grinding. Could it be the blend door actuator is failing?

Hi there from England. I have a 1987 IROC, I have replaced the drier, condenser and all the seals ready for r134a. My only problem is that there is one Schrader valve located on the hard line which runs along the frame rail on the passenger side, it wont come out and I snapped the tool off inside it. What is that valve even for, if you connect the lines directly to the drier anyway? I don't know if I even need to bother with it. Cheers.

Heat the shifter slowly with a heat gun pop the middle cap out and 15mm takes her off and heat gun to soften the ball and pop the middle cap back in , love the video. Oh yeah carb spray will take that tint right off once you get it started away it goes.

I did this on my 01 gmc Sierra, I used my grinder with a thin blade,had it cut in seconds, when I put it back together I used epoxy to tack it in place and used a high quality silicone to seal, three months later and zero problems, can still access cabin air filters easily. Blowing cold air and I'm happy and saved a lot of heartache.

No wrench, no tools, hand tight only. U 4got2 lube up the new valve. Lubing up everything will make all this easier next time. Always replace both Schrader valves together. If 1valve is aged& compromised; the other is likely similarly aged. 4:59 - cursing in this public place will get u get reported &taken down.

Mine only cracks long on warm starts, 20 minutes to 2 hours after she been running. Starts just fine 1st crank every time otherwise. Any thoughts?

Thank you for investment of time and energy to produce video. AM NOT A TECH or MECHANIC. Have 1984 K-5 Chevy Blazer, 6.2 Liter Diesel. Came with Silverado package (Cowboy Cadillac). Owned it since 1986. Dealer told me was once owned by a dealer. Have always loved driving it. Even today with fading paint, get offers to buy it every month. (That can be annoying.) Issue of the COLD START IN THE MORNING is perplexing one. There are at least 24 TECH VIDEOS here on UA-cam by many of you. Have watched most of them. This vehicle never did that until about 5 years ago. Think issue is different for DIESEL or GAS vehicles. Think it different for 90’s Blazers vs 80’s Blazers. Those of you who believe the COLD START IN THE MORNING is due to LOSS OF FUEL PRESSURE BETWEEN THE FUEL TANK AND FUEL FILTER at engine compartment seem to be more accurate. Noticed when ever I keep ENGINE BLOCK HEATER plugged in overnight there is NO LOSS OF FUEL PRESSURE. It starts and runs fine in the morning. That is all I have to contribute to the MYSTERY here. 😎😎😎

Wish my 2012 was that easy to do without removing fender wells, engine covers, grills, bolts, etc., JUST to REACH the back of the headlight.

I got an answer from my transmission shop THE SPACER PLATE THAT GOSE ON THE FLEX PLATE IS A MUST HAVE you need it because the starter plate you install between the motor and bell housing pushes the trans back meaning the pilot hole on the crank will not center your Torque converter and will cause your torque converter not to be fully engaged to the pump and clutch and will tear it up , the spacer gose your n the outside of the flex plate make sure to put a little lube around the inside of the spacer If you see this pin it there is not a lot of Info on these kits and Danchuck are retired and out of business now

Dose anyone know how to install the flex plate and torque converter spacer plate ? Do I need extended flex plate bolts and how dose it go on , my transmission shop said it was important I put the space on to make sure my converter is fully engaged to the trans
